The collider exploding transformed Ohn into an all-white colored villain with black portal spots on him allowing him to travel to different universes. The significance is that this scientist created the radioactive spider that bit Miles Morales in the first movie.
Miles Morales Wants to Write His Own Story
When the Spider Society reveals the trend of every Spider-Man losing a close loved one, who is usually the Captain of the local police department. Upon realizing his father was recently promoted to Captain, he races to go save him in his universe only to end up in the wrong one.
The Spider-Society transforms into the antagonists within the film as they attempt to stop Miles from embarking on this journey. While they profess that his father’s death is for what is best in maintaining his Spider-Verse, the stubborn teenager wants to write his own story instead of listening to some foreseen destiny that happens to every Spider-Man.
The cliffhanger ending is to make anyone cringe and say, “Come on!” But it’ll be all worth it when the 2024 sequel is released.

Miles’ Unique Ability and Grit Will Help Him Save His Dad
Miles is like the outlier of the other Spider-Man members throughout the Society. He has the power of bioelectricity and cloaking, which are great abilities for reconnaissance with an upper hand.
Both powers can help him apprehend the Spider-Society from stopping him to save his father. Then, his father will not die after all.
The Inevitable Happens
The sequel could take viewers on a journey of Miles doing everything in his power to return to his universe and save his father. However, his efforts could be in vain and his father could die at the hands of Spot anyway.
While there is a slight chance this could happen, he could also achieve something remarkable like when he saved the Captain of the police department in Spider-Man India’s Spider-Verse, who also happened to be Spider-Man’s girlfriend’s father in that dimension.
Spider-Woman May Help Miles and Gwen
The pregnant, motorcycle-riding Spider-Woman is Spider-Man 2099’s right-hand individual. Despite her mentoring Gwen when entering the Spider-Society, Spider-Woman turns on Spider-Girl when tasked with preventing her from assisting Miles in his journey to save his father.
Spider-Woman may return to the side of Miles and Gwen in the sequel, which makes for a great redemption opportunity. We will have to wait and see!
