Inspiring movies do so much more than tell a great story; they inspire greatness. Here are the ten best inspiring movies to work your way through.
I Spy an Inspiring Movie
We’ve all had those moments when you just don’t feel like doing anything. When this happens, it’s critical to seek inspiration in various places. Some people read self-help books, while others listen to encouraging songs. Still, we can all agree that nothing beats BetMGM inspiring movies for a little feel-good magic. Check out my personal favourite inspirational films if you’re stuck in a rut or just want to get your creative juices flowing. I’ve recently re-watched a few of them and can personally vouch for their excellent mood-boosting effects. Prepare to be highly motivated to do anything.
1. My Left Foot
Christy Brown is a spastic quadriplegic with only control over his left foot in this incredible real story. Unfortunately, he’s written off as a helpless case, doomed to spend his days on the outskirts. Christy, on the other hand, is tenacious and astute. He becomes a painter, poet, and author merely by using that foot.
2. The Trial of the Chicago 7
Academy Award-winning The Social Network and West Wing scribe Aaron Sorkin wrote and directed this uncommonly entertaining legal drama, drawing parallels between 1968 and today. Strong performances by an ensemble cast that includes Yahya Abdul Mateen II, Michael Keaton, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and others help a picture that has received five Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture.
3. Amadeus
This fantastic period epic, released in 1984, is partially based on Mozart’s genius. As expected from top inspirational films, outstanding performances, and exceptional music are the film’s selling points.
4. The Shawshank Redemption
The Shawshank Redemption is the story of financier Andy Dufresne’s 19-year jail sentence. The film conveys a strong message of camaraderie and resilience while also providing insight into the lives of the people at Shawshank. The film concludes not only with the escape of innocent Andy but also with the redemption of his comrade, Red, making it a wonderful story of hope, faith, and camaraderie.
5. Inside Out
Inside Out is one of those good inspirational films that provides a break from reality while gently addressing the realistic nature of life’s ups and downs. While the story revolves around Riley and her new life in San Francisco, it is a priceless reminder to all of us, regardless of age, that expressing our emotions is good.
6. Yes Man
Yes Man is about Carl Allen, a man with a pessimistic attitude toward life. He follows the suggestion of a coworker and attends a motivational session to overcome his negativity. The seminar truly resonates with him. As a result, he decides to constantly say yes, and to take advantage of every chance that comes his way. It’s a great film for anyone who, like Carl, has a pessimistic attitude on life or is currently suffering from opposing ideas. Get rid of your negativity!
7. Bruce Almighty
Bruce Almighty is a lighthearted yet inspiring film with a profound message. It’s about a TV reporter who is continuously plagued by bad luck. He complains that God is not doing a good job, at which time God appears and offers him all of his abilities to see if he can do a better job. He learns life-changing insights along the road. Overall, I believe the video could focus more on the life lessons – the humour occasionally takes over the picture, possibly to appeal to a broader audience. A good weekend movie to enjoy with friends.
8. The Pursuit of Happiness
“The Pursuit of Happiness,” based on an actual event, is an amazingly motivating film about how difficult it can be to attain your aspirations. The film chronicles the experience of Chris Gardner, an entrepreneur who has been homeless for almost a year while caring for his child. What makes the film so inspiring is that it conveys that you must be willing to go to any length to achieve your goals.
9. Dumplin’
Dumplin’ is the epitome of sweetness. While a small-town Texas girl enters the local pageant to humiliate her beauty queen mother, she learns a few vital lessons about self-worth along the way. The film is full of personality and contains a few critical ingredients that elevate practically everything, such as Jennifer Aniston, glittery clothing, and Dolly Parton tunes.
10. Intouchables
This is an uplifting narrative about the joy of life and the surprising and unbreakable friendship of the main characters, who appear to have nothing in common at first glance. Rich Philippe, who uses a wheelchair, is spending time with the brutally honest and impulsive youngster Driss. However, he ultimately learns to embrace life and pushes himself further than he ever imagined.
