THE TELLURIDE INTERNATIONAL EXPERIMENTAL CINEMA EXPOSITION

The Telluride International Experimental Cinema Exposition is preparing for a four-day run from [ October 26th to the 29th, 2001 ] and they’ve released a call for entries for films of any length until their deadline on [ Sepember 1st, 2001 ] . All entries must be submitted in VHS format, and official selections should be handed in on a film print ( 8mm, Super8, 16mm, 35mm) for final judging.
The Festival’s mission is as follows:
The annual 4-day film event seeks films that break the boundaries of conventional filmmaking and films that are challenging in modes of production and/or exhibition. From hand-painted and “scratch” films to subversive and obscure cinema, TIE selects only the highest caliber of experimental film by artists whom are dedicated to film experimentation.
