Brilliant short film The Human Beeing, which pays homage to classic 50’s horror films, with a comic twist, will screen on July 17th at the Laemmle’s Santa Monica 4-plex as part of the DancesWithFilms film festival.
The Human Beeing tells the story of of an evil boss and a mad scientist who plan to get rich by turning all their employees at a typing company into mutated worker bees. The prototype of these human beeings is cleverly disguised in a moustache and toupee and is introduced into the office typing pool as the new employee, Mr. Hives. He’s also chained to his desk as to not maim of his co-workers.
“The Human Beeing” will also screen during the San Diego Comic Con, August 1-4. Check out the official “Human Beeing” website to watch the trailer.
