STONE AND PARKER VOTE "FAMILY FIRST"

By Film Threat Staff | November 7, 2000

Comedy Central recently cast a vote for Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the always-P.C. masterminds behind “South Park,” and the duo’s next project. The live-action political comedy is called “Family First,” and the new series will center on the day-to-day exploits of the Commander in Chief and his White House pals.
But the main “Family First” character will not be unveiled until post-Election Day. In the spirit of political accuracy, “Family First” will feature a lead character based on our next real-life President, and the show’s White House staff will also be modeled after actual people. The series will step forward in February. For more details as they develop, see the [ official Comedy Central site. ]
