SAVE THE SCORE TO BUFFY!

By Film Threat Staff | March 11, 2001

Fans have been waiting for the musical score CD for the acclaimed “Buffy” series for ages, but unless decisive action is taken right now, that day may never come. The story goes like this: after promising Chris Beck’s score CD for “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” for more than two years, and after Sony Records had agreed to produce it, 20th Century Fox postponed the release indefinitely. Unless Fox is convinced there’s a market/fan interest in the score CD, it will not be released. At all.
But here’s where you come in. Write a respectful, polite, and very direct note to the address below and tell all involved how much you love, and need, the “Buffy” music. Where would Buffy and Angel even be without the “Close Your Eyes” love theme? And what about all of those 4th season gems, like “Hush” and “Restless”? Address all letters to:
[ Geoff Bywater ^ 20th Century Fox ^ 10201 W. Pico Blvd. ^ Bldg. 18, Rm. 101 ^ Los Angeles, CA 90035 ]
IMPORTANT: Put “cc: Robert Kraft” at the bottom of your letter, then copy it and send the copy to:
[ Robert Kraft ^ 20th Century Fox ^ 10201 W. Pico Blvd. ^ Bldg. 222, Rm. 1 ^ Los Angeles, CA 90035 ]
Remember, be courteous and passionate when writing, and tell all of your friends to do the same. For example letters (to use as guides; do NOT copy) and the latest news, check in with the Save the Score site.
