RADIOHEAD VS. THE MATRIX

By Film Threat Staff | November 15, 2002

In the spirit of the music and film synchronization of Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” and “The Wizard of Oz,” Deep Blue Funk presents “Radiohead vs. The Matrix” at the Blinding Light in Vancouver.
The evening’s strategy is to synchronize the entire library of Radiohead recordings to start together (on separate CD players) at the beginning of the visually engrossing and paranoia-inducing The Matrix. As the film plays, the music will be drawn in and out of the mix as each album unfolds simultaneously, magically blending Yorke with Reeves…an orgasmic experience for some…a wretched nightmare for others.
The screening is tonight, November 15th, at 8:30pm at the Blinding Light.
