Monte Hellman, director of cult classics such as “Two-Lane Blacktop” and “Cockfighter” is making a comeback as he’s set to direct “Desperadoes,” based on the novel by Ron Hansen. The film delves into the exploits of the Dalton gang, a band of Old West train robbers. The film starts filming this fall and no casting has been announced.
