“HELL HOUSE” FINDS A HOME

By Film Threat Staff | March 26, 2002

George Ratliff’s eerie feature documentary “Hell House” has been picked up by 7th Art Releasing and is now slated for a late spring theatrical release.
The intrepid “Hell House” crew was allowed to roam behind the scenes at a Texas Pentecostal church’s controversial haunted house, where the fake ghosts and ghouls have been replaced by “a high-tech fire and brimstone sermon in the form of graphic scenes depicting abortion, AIDS deaths and school shootings.” Now that’s scary. The film is set to open in New York, Los Angeles and parts of Texas.
