35MM CLASSICS AT ANTHOLOGY FILM ARCHIVES

One more reminder from Film Threat — from [ January 3rd through the 30th, 2001 ] in New York, Kino International will showcase a portion of their amazing collection of American and international classic cinema during the Anthology Film Archives’ “Kino Presents: The Great Movies in 35mm”.
Among other must-see, 35mm films are Fellini’s “8 1/2,” Chaplin’s features including “The Circus” and “City Lights,” Kurosawa’s Oscar-winning “Rashomon” and “Dersu Uzala,” Cocteau’s “Beauty and the Beast,” and masterpiece short subjects including “La Jetee” and “Un Chien Andalou.” The new year may be upon us, but this is a rare chance to see some of the best film of years past on the big screen.
