Ryan Reynolds is one of the most recognizable names in showbiz today. Ryan is an amazing actor and businessman who has featured in some of the biggest movies in the past two decades. In this article, we will be looking at his best movies, some from his distant past and some from his recent career in no particular order.

6 Underground

6 Underground is, undoubtedly, a Michael Bay film. The film revolves around Reynolds and his crew of five other highly skilled individuals unafraid of anything. If you are looking for a movie with lots of explosions, fast-paced action and Reynold’s humour, this is the movie to watch.

The Proposal

Put Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock in the same film and what you get is a well-paced, well-thought-out film. Ryan plays an assistant working at a publishing house. His life is somewhat mundane until his boss (played by Bullock) is threatened with deportation. She then attempts to get into a sham marriage with Ryan’s character to avoid deportation and keep her high-end job.

Mississippi Grind

Mississippi Grind is one of the earlier Ryan Reynold works but it holds up really well seven years later. The story follows Gerry (Ben Mendelsohn) and Curtis (Ryan Reynolds) as they try to make up some of the money they have lost playing casino games.

The relationship between the two is quite complex because even though Curtis seems more restrained, Gerry’s life seems to revolve around playing casino games. The movie does a very good job of depicting casinos and high-stakes casinos games and features the most popular table casino games Canada that you would find at most online and mobile casinos. It also tells the story of two men who are just about done with their lives, with little left to live for apart from the thrill of a road trip and playing casino games.

Free City

Free city is one of the most heartfelt movies Ryan has done. It stars Reynolds as a character in a video game called Free Guy. The movie follows him as he evolves from a bank teller character to becoming self-aware and destroying the video game world that he and other characters exist in.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard

For this one, Ryan Reynolds teams up with Samuel L Jackson for a funny, dramatic buddy cop movie. Ryan plays a bodyguard out of his luck trying to repair his reputation. Jackson plays a bad guy trying to get to the International Court to present evidence on a genocide he witnesses.

Deadpool

Deadpool is arguably Ryan Reynold’s biggest film as it is what catapulted him further into the limelight. The movie is based on Deadpool, a comic book character, who is unafraid to break the fourth wall, say anything he wants, and deal with bad guys in the most brutal ways possible.

Deadpool broke numerous records and cemented Ryan as a legitimate action film actor. Even with all the action and solid story in the movie, everyone should watch it for the witty and often raunchy jokes.

Ryan Reynolds has acted in a lot of movies, from serious ones to funny and explosive ones like Deadpool. The actor has amazing range, and we can expect to see him doing more of what he does best long into the future.
