WILD BUNCH GETS A REDO

Writer/director David Ayer always seemed like a cool guy who could write some great dialogue. However, the former statement was proven untrue as it was announced he will be starting a remake of “The Wild Bunch.”

Ayer’s remake is described as a thriller involving heists, drug cartels and the CIA, set in contemporary Mexico. So…it sounds like “Once Upon a Time In Mexico” and isn’t really a remake of “The Wild Bunch?” No such luck as the original title will stay intact. Here’s hoping the ghost of Sam Peckinpah inhabits Ayer’s house and slaps him with a case of writers block…and fast!
