TWO BRUCES AND AN INDIANA

By Mark Bell | May 6, 2008

The opening of the 2008 blockbuster season brought with it new trailers for some of the more anticipated films of the Summer, so we present to you the latest trailers for “The Dark Knight,” “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” and “The Incredible Hulk”…

“The Dark Knight”

While more plot is revealed, and the Joker is painted a bit more as a savvy underworld business man than a psychopath, this trailer doesn’t quite deliver the breathtaking level of excitement the first one did. And who wants to put money on the Joker killing Rachel Dawes off in this one, and Harvey Dent blaming Batman for her death, leading to the creation of Two-Face? Anyone?

“The Dork Knight”

Same trailer as above, but with a decidely more Joker-istic feel to it. This 35mm trailer reel went to the winner of the latest “Dark Knight” viral adventure.

“Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”

Is Indy going to fight Amazonian zombies on top of the Russians? Trailer raises the stakes, making an already overly-anticipated film that much more hyped-up. Can it deliver? We’ll find out very soon!

“The Incredible Hulk”

Waitaminute, did Tim Roth’s character really just walk right up to the Hulk and talk smack? For Roth alone, I’m willing to put aside my Hulk-indifference for two hours.
