TROMADANCE 2005 ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE

The TromaDance Film Festival, will begin its 6th year in Park City and Salt Lake City Utah on January 24th! And in an attempt to create world peace through cinema, the 2005 TromaDance Film Festival will be featuring the work of independent filmmakers from across the globe.

On Monday January 24th from 6pm to 8pm, the TromaDance Film Festival will kick off the festivities with the official Opening Night Reception at Night Flight Comics, Liberty Square, 210 East 400 South, Salt Lake City. Tuesday January 25th from 5:00pm to 1:00am is the first evening of official TromaDance screenings, and will take place at Brewvies Cinema & Pub, 677 South 200 West in Salt Lake City.

Wednesday January 26th marks TromaDance’s first day in Park City, with the TromaDance Literary Sidebar at Dolly’s Bookstore, 510 Main Street, from 4pm to 6pm. There TromaDance Film Festival founder Lloyd Kaufman will be signing copies of his books, and Volumes 1 through 3 of the Best of TromaDance DVD’s will be available for purchase.

The 6th Annual TromaDance Film Festival is capped off by the final day of screenings at Mother Urban’s Ratskeller, located at 625 Main Street in Park City. Screenings begin at 10am and run until 5pm. At that time will be TromaDance’s Make Your Own Damn Movie panel discussion featuring experts from both the mainstream and underground of the film industry. The evening ends with the legendary TromaDance closing night party, which runs until 1am. Green Goblyn Project will be performing with special guests, and space is extremely limited!
