The people of BMW make a fine automobile, and they’ve done so for many, many years. But they’ve added another feather to their racing cap with the creation of BMW Films, an online showcase for digital works created by and for BMW Films alone.
The group’s newest series is called “The Hire,” and it will feature five original installments from five incredible directors — John Frankenheimer, Ang Lee, Guy Ritchie, Wong Kar-Wai and Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu. And the whole shebang is produced by none other than David Fincher. Frankenheimer’s “Hire” segment, entitled “Ambush,” can be viewed right now at the BMW Films site.
