TICKETS ARE “GONE WITH THE WIND”

By Film Threat Staff | July 17, 2002

It’s not like people were waiting in line for over a month, but it’s just been announced that tickets for the July 22nd screening of “Gone With the Wind” at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Samuel Goldwyn Theater are sold out. There will be a stand-by line the night of the event, so people who want to try their luck will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis if ticket holders have not arrived by 15 minutes prior to show time.

Presented in its original 1:33 aspect ratio with the original overture, intermission and exit music, “Gone With the Wind” is the next in the Academy’s 75th Anniversary screening series, “Facets of the Diamond: 75 Years of Best Picture Winners.”
