It’s easy to tell where David Morris stands on those Verizon commercials (“Can you hear me now? Good!), but at the same time, his parody suffers from a deceptive title. There’s no truth revealed behind the once vapid supercouple, but there’s only J-Lo (Tatiana Turan) being annoyed by a Horizon guy (Eddie Buck) outside her Bel Air home. It’s a fine Verizon parody, finally going where those Verizon commercials never go, but the title feels like it’s there just to get more people in, curious by something that’s never revealed, or at least made fun of.
