THE SISTERS MCMULLEN?

By Film Threat Staff | July 18, 2002

Filmmaker Donna Dudick describes her new film, “The Mommy Track”, as being similar to “The Brothers McMullen”, only meaner, older, and with chicks. That kinda makes sense as she also describes it as a “a pre-menopausal film.”

“The Mommy Track” is a comedic drama about three sisters coming together for their mother’s funeral. After the will is read, it becomes clear that one of the sisters has been disinherited, and the sisters try to uncover the reason as they deal with the grieving process, uncover hidden truths about one another and handle their own midlife crisis situations.

“The Mommy Track” will be hitting the festival circuit soon. Keep an eye out for it.
