THE PIXIE AWARDS CELEBRATE ONLINE FILM

The people behind the Pixie Awards firmly believe that “for any medium to survive, stars in that medium (great actors, directors, writers, painters, etc.) must emerge.” This reasoning, along with the fact that online film is now a very popular and ever-expanding part of the film world, gave birth to the inaugural Pixie Awards last year. Participants included [ AtomFilms, AlwaysI, Reelshort ] , and many others.
Remember, this is [ not ] a film festival: it costs nothing to enter and nothing to attend. To be considered for the 2001 Awards, which will be giev out in [ July of 2001 ] , you should submit your efforts by [ March 15th, 2001 ] . All entrants need to be online and have an accessible URL.
