THE AMERICAN CINEMATHEQUE PRESENTS FOREIGN LANGUAGE GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINEE EVENTS

On Wednesday, January 12th at 7:30 PM director Jean-Pierre Jeunet will introduce his film, A VERY LONG ENGAGEMENT.

On Thursday, January 13th at 7:30 PM there will be a double feature of THE SEA INSIDE and THE CHORUS. Directors Alejandro Amenabar (THE SEA INSIDE) and Christophe Barratier (THE CHORUS) will introduce the screenings.

On Friday, January 14th at 7:30 PM there will be a double feature of HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS and THE MOTORCYCLE DIARIES. Directors Zhang Yimou (HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS)
and Walter Salles (DIARIOS DE MOTOCICLETA) will introduce the screenings.

Screenings are at the Aero Theatre at 1328 Montana Avenue in Santa Monica.

On Saturday, January 15th at 1:00 PM at the Egyptian Theatre there will be a roundtable discussion with all five of the nominated directors. Attending are Jean-Pierre Jeunet (A VERY LONG ENGAGEMENT), Alejandro Amenabar (THE SEA INSIDE), Christophe Barratier (THE CHORUS), Zhang Yimou
(HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS), and Walter Salles (THE MOTORCYCLE DIARIES). Reception to follow at the Egyptian Theatre Courtyard. Admission to the roundtable discussion is free. This event is at the Lloyd E. Rigler Theatre at the historic 1922 Egyptian (6712 Hollywood Boulevard between Highland and Las Palmas) in Hollywood.
