THE AGGRESSIVELY BORING FILM FEST

And you thought made-for-the-Web film was cutting-edge. The Aggressively Boring Film Festival wants to put film in the palm of your, well, Palm, and they’re seeking your lil’ submissions from now until [ November 10th, 2000 ] . All submissions will be shown on the [ New Venue ] and [ Generic Media ]sites, and the top ones will be screened at the Sony CLIE booth at Comdex in Las Vegas, which runs from [ November 13th through the 17th, 2000 ] . One piece will be voted Best Film, and the winner gets a shiny new Sony CLIE.
Here’s the submission breakdown:
1. Before [ November 10th ] , submit your film online at the New Venue as a QuickTime, AVI, GIF animation, Flash, or MPEG-1 file and it will be converted to gMedia. ^ 2. Content is either 4 bit gray or 8 bit color. ^ 3. Maximum size is 160×120. If a custom image size is defined, it will be preserved. ^ 4. Maximum frame rate will vary based on frame size, but is approximately 6 to 12 frames per second. If a frame rate is defined, it will be preserved. ^ 5. No sound! ^ 6. Content is initially only playable only on the Sony CLIé.
