If you’re planning on attending 2001’s SXSW Film Conference and Festival, which officially gets started on [ March 9th ] and finishes up on [ March 17th, 2001, ] then get your dollars ready. Conference registration has begun, and the late deadline is fast approaching.
If you missed the first Festival deadline, which hit on [ October 6th, ] fret not, because you still have a chance. The next registration deadline falls on [ December 1st, 2000, ] and the fee is $165. It also helps to know that special rates are available for individuals wanting to attend both the SXSW Film and the SXSW Interactive Festival, or all three of their conferences (Film, Interactive, and Music). Last year’s film festival saw over 200 features and shorts screened, and packed houses abounded as special guests hob-nobbed and talked much shop.
