The 2007 Sundance Film Festival closed with a few more distribution deals, making the festival one of the most deal-friendly in recent history. ThinkFilm acquired North American rights to “The Ten” for an estimated $4.5 million, while IFC and Netflix’s Red Envelope Entertainment were said to have been closing a deal with “The Protagonist.”
A number of films were also expected to sell post-festival, including award winners “Padre Nuestro” and “Manda Bala.”
