SUBMIT TO THE TEXAS FILM FESTIVAL

From [ February 20th ] through [ February 24th, 2001 ] , the Texas Film Festival carries on its mission of promoting film as an educational medium for both future filmmakers and students. The Festival, which was founded in 1993, is also the largest student-run film event in the country, and it attracts over 20,000 audience members each year through its organizing body, the MSC Film Society.
The Texas Film Festival is now accepting submissions for their 2001 event. The fee for short films is [ $10 ] and student works are [ $15 ] to enter. Features are [ $30 ] , and all entries must be submitted by no later than [ November 1st, 2000 ] …although they’ll let things slide until [ November 10th ] if you have to push it, but you’ll have to cough up an extra $15 if you plan on mailing your goods off after November 1st.
