Steven Soderbergh sat down with “Wired” magazine to get philosophic about the explosion of digital media. While some of his ideas are cool (the multi-availibility of “Bubble” for instance) others seem real, real lame. We’re talking about the part where Soderbergh suggests a visual “mash-up” of Hitchcock and Van Sant’s “Psycho.” For one, Van Sant’s version should never be mentioned in a positive way and for two, it’s just a lame idea.
