SLAMDUNK ANNOUNCES FEATURE SELECTIONS

The Slamdunk Film Festival was born in 1998 in Park City, and in the four years since they’ve become “independent film’s truly international alternative film festival.” Along with 23 short films, the Festival has selected several feature films for 2001:
[ Chump Change (Stephen D Burrows) ] ^ “Chump Change” is a film about the life, love and laughter of Milwaukee Steve, whose descent into the nightmare of LA sends him fleeing back to Wisconsin where he meets and falls in love with the beautiful and incredible Sam.
[ Dinner and A Movie (Lisa Kors) ] ^ “Dinner and A Movie” follows the bizarre world of intrigue and obsession while making a dating documentary for a local PBS broadcast station.
[ Green Diggity Dog (Hoot Maynard) ] ^ Two plucky young hotel employees get in over their heads, when they make off with three million dollars and the body of dead mobster.
[ North Beach ( Jed Mortenson and Richard Speight, Jr.) ] ^ The race is on, in a raucous romp through the lives and libations of this No-Cal neighborhood, as Tyler spends one frantic day desperately trying to pull his social nuts out of the fire.
[ The Ragu Incident (Paul Harather) ] ^ The story of one man’s quest for the perfect mate and her tragic flaw…
[ Red Dirt (Tag Purvis) ] ^ A traveler invades the ruins of a broken family and everyone discovers that there is more than meets the eye.
[ The Wedding Cow (Tomi Streiff) ] ^ Flora, a hitchhiking librarian, creates plenty of chaos for Tim, a simple plumber, and his cow Hanna when he picks her up on his cross-country drive to his wedding.
