SLAMDANCE ANNOUNCES 2003 WINNERS

The Slamdance Film Festival announced its winners Friday night, January 24th at the Snow Park Lodge with a raging party afterwards (we have the pictures to prove it), featuring bands Inner and Imperial Teen.The winners are as follows:
GRAND JURY AWARD FOR BEST FEATURE – Assisted Living

GRAND JURY FOR BEST SHORT – “The Snell Show”

SPECIAL JURY MENTION FOR SHORT – “Shadowman”

SPECIAL JURY MENTION – Die Kurve

AUDIENCE AWARD FEATURE – “Missing Peace”

AUDIENCE AWARD FOR BEST SHORT – Little Hearts

SPIRIT OF SLAMDANCE PRIZE – “Tom Hits His Head”

THE ROSEBUD AWARD – “Lady of the Lake”

KODAK VISION AWARD FOR BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY – “Long Gone”

BEST DOCUMENTARY – “Long Gone”

GLOBAL ANARCHY AWARD – “Midnight Express”

SCREENPLAY WINNERS:
1st Place – Thomas R. Lewis (“Spy”) in the Big Budget Category
2nd Place – Regina Giel (“Dark Matter”) in the Sci-Fi Category
3rd Place – Amir Mann (“Final Awakening”) in the Short Film Category
