By Film Threat Staff | April 4, 2005

Sidewalk Screenwriter’s Lab, Sidewalk’s second in a series of workshops designed to encourage and inspire independent filmmaking in Alabama will soon be accepting applications. The Sidewalk Screenwriter’s Lab, presented in collaboration with EB Productions and led by screenwriter and film executive Elizabeth Bradley (Emerging Pictures, Andrew Lauren Productions), is an intensive 7-week class focusing on the fundamentals of story structure, character development and effective dialogue. The final week of each class will feature a comprehensive discussion of the business of screenwriting at the studio and independent levels.

The Sidewalk Screenwriter’s Lab is set for two sessions – one in early summer (May 10 – June 22) and one in late summer (June 28 – August 17). Each session will offer a Level One and Level Two workshop.
