SCREAMFEST FOR AN INDEPENDENT HALLOWEEN

Now in it’s second year, Screamfest is a Halloween horror film festival enabling indie genre filmmkers to show their films to an appreciative, like-minded audience, as well as distributors and producers.
Running from October 17th – 20th, Screamfest will take place at the Fairfax Laemmle Theatre in Los Angeles. Mostly indies are scheduled (Cradle of Fear and “Vampire Clan”) with a few classics thrown in (The Exorcist and Evil Dead) for added Halloween cheer.
William Friedkin will be in attendance to present the screening of “The Exorcist” on October 17th and Wes Craven will be on a panel discussing Pros vs. Cons of Film Censorship on October 20th.
