SAN FRANCISCO FEST WANTS YOU!

By Film Threat Staff | August 23, 2000

The official 44th San Francisco International Film Festival begins on April 19th and ends on May 3rd, 2001. They are now asking for your submissions, but pay attention, because there are different deadlines for several genres: narrative features must be in their hot hands by January 3, 2001; documentaries, shorts, experimental films, all animation, and pieces for their television production category need to be in by December 1, 2000. Considerable prizes in every area should sweeten the deal.
The Festival will also introduce online voting for shorts this year, as well as a panel on “Solving the Mysteries of Film Festivals” — a point of interest for many budding filmmakers. All information for the San Francisco International Film Festival can be found [ here. ]
