PHILLY FEST OF WORLD CINEMA WINNERS

Success is definitely in the numbers — witness the 30,000-plus crowd that attended the two-week 10th Annual Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema, which ran from [ April 26th ] through [ May 7th, 2001 ] . This stat alone makes the event the largest film festival in the history of Philadelphia and one of the largest in the United States.
Add to this the impressive slate of winning films for 2001, and it’s safe to say that we can expect even bigger things out of Philadelphia in years to come. The Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema winners are:
