Last week in PETE JONES’ “DOUBTING RILEY” DIARY, the Sundance deadline was met and Harvey Weinstein made Pete’s weenie shrink up into his body cavity. This week, the editing process continues and Pete finds that self-doubt is a sonofabitch.

A lot of people asked me over the past two years how I dealt with the lack of box office success for “Stolen Summer”. And I have always answered, “I’m a Cubs fan, disappointment is in my blood.” It has never been more appropriate than this year, and as much as the 1984 choke to the Padres hurt, this year was most painful.
