"PCR: OPUS" CAPTURES COMIC ARTIST

By Film Threat Staff | September 11, 2000

For all you comic book fanboys and fangirls out there, Lurid Entertainment is hard at work on “PCR: Opus,” a cinematic look inside the world of comic industry legend P. Craig Russell. His portfolio bulked up in the 1970’s with work for “Ant-Man” and “Killraven,” but it is now, as he finishes up the comic adaptation of Wagner’s “The Ring of Nibelung” for Dark Horse Comics, that Russell nears his career’s definitive moment. Other artistic highlights include work for “Batman,” “Sandman,” and the award-winning “Fairy Tales of Oscar Wilde” series.
Respected by his peers and loved by his fans, Russell is also a private man, and “PCR: Opus” brings the viewer into his world. For movie stills and a look at the production thus far, run over to [ “PCR: Opus” central. ]
