OSCAR SHORTS AT THE EGYPTIAN

The American Cinematheque at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles presents a limited engagement of Academy Award Nominated and Winning Shorts on Fridays, September 17th through Friday, October, 8th. All screenings will start at 8:00 PM. The screenings include this year’s Academy Award nominated and winning shorts, in both the Animation and Live-Action categories. The same program will be repeated on each Friday screening. The series includes “Die Rote Jake” (Germany), “Harvie Krumpet” (Australia), “Torzija” (Slovenia), “Nibbles” (Canada), “Squash” (France), and “Perpetual Motion” (USA). Films have English subtitles if the dialogue is other than English. All screenings are at the Spielberg Theatre at the historic Egyptian (6712 Hollywood Boulevard between Highland and Las Palmas) in Hollywood.
