NEW YORK HOSTS RESFEST

From [ October 18th to the 22nd, 2000, ] The Resfest Digital Film Festival will unload an all-new program of never-before-seen works in New York. After sold-out events in San Francisco, Seattle, London, and Chicago, Resfest hopes to make their 4th year even more revolutionary. The Festival will take place at the [ Chelsea Cinema West ] and [ The New School’s Tishman Auditorium. ]
Resfest hosts shorts, long shorts, cinema electronica, net cinema shorts and features, plus animation, digital film, and music video formats. Standout selections for the New York Resfest include “Figures of Speech,” a longer short by Tommy Pallotta and Bob Sabiston, who are currently collaborating with Richard Linklater on his forthcoming animated feature film, and “Sam the Man” starring Fisher Stevens and Annabella Sciorra. “Sam” is the story of a New York writer with a hankering for pretty women.
