MY LIFE IS A MOVIE

By Eric Campos | January 1, 2002

It’s like a Twilight Zone episode, but shorter and funny too. Tucker wakes up one morning to find that his life is a movie. No, he doesn’t mosey around town with his slacker friends who only speak in movie quotes. No, this guy’s life is really a movie. Every waking moment is surrounded by a full production crew and every move he makes is considered a take. This could prove to be a major problem for some folks who just want to be left the hell alone, but not for attention hound Tucker. He revels in his newfound fame, even going as far as to use the power of cinema to retake and change some of the more unsavory moments in his life – like turning around his girlfriend dumping him into him dumping his girlfriend.

The idea behind “My Life Is A Movie” is a goofy one and in less talented hands, this film would’ve remained just that…goofy at best. But filmmaker Jeff Bacon has an amazing comic sense that can turn any situation into a laugh riot. He first proved so with his “Arrowhead Beer” spots and now with “My Life Is A Movie”, Bacon has proved that he’s one funny sumbitch!
