MARTY JENKINS AND THE VAMPIRE BITCHES (DVD)

By Eric Campos | January 11, 2007

Dumped on by friends, family and strangers alike, nerdy, amishly bearded video store clerk Marty Jenkins finally gets his chance to nab some respect when his quiet little hometown of Dayton, Ohio becomes overrun by hot undead chicks…that’s VAMPIRE B*****S to you.

“Marty Jenkins and the Vampire B*****s” overcomes the odds, and a shoestring budget, with good ol’ natural comedic talent. Yep, laughs replace scares here, so don’t come expecting a balls-to-the-wall frightfest. Chock full of entertaining performances and clever dialogue filmmaker Henrique Couto and crew have what it takes to keep your eyeballs glued to the screen till the very end and that’s a great feat to pull off for a little low budget flick.

Again, talent wins the race here. These folks are fortunate to have the skills that they do. And we are fortunate that we have them out there making films as funny as “Marty Jenkins and the Vampire B*****s.”
