KOREAN FILM RETURNS TO LOS ANGELES

The American Cinematheque and the Los Angeles Korean
International Film Festival presents THE LOS ANGELES KOREAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL at the Egyptian Theatre, September 16 – 18.
Director Cheol-su Park presents his controversial new film NOKSAEK UIJA (GREEN CHAIR) in person. Other highlights include the Los Angeles Premiere of CONVENTIONEERS which explores the bitter love affair between a Republican delegate and a Democrat protesting the RNC during the 2004 Republican National Convention; THE GRACE LEE PROJECT, a personal essay on Asian stereotypes in America as seen
through the lives of several women all named Grace Lee; plus a short film program. LA-KIFF emphasizes individual creativity, cultural exchange and global communication during its multi-part Festival events.
