KCRW, broadcast on 89.9 in most of Los Angeles and Orange County, is home to a Friday series known as “The Treatment,” wherein Host Elvis Mitchell talks with film and entertainment personalities on the air from [ 2:30 to 3PM] …and for those not in radio-friendly territory, “The Treatment” is also web-cast live on the [ the KCRW website. ]
On [ Friday, October 27th ] , Actor-writer-director and smooth talker Laurence Fishburne will be grilled on-air. Fishburne, who is a household name for his performances in “The Matrix,” “Boyz N’ the Hood,” and “Searching for Bobby Fischer,” among many other films, is also set to release his directorial debut “Once in the Life” on the day of the broadcast. And if that weren’t enough, he also wrote the film and stars in it too.
