JESUS CHRIST MAKES COMEBACK AT PHILADELPHIA VIDEO FESTIVAL

By Film Threat Staff | May 23, 2003

The 1st annual Philadelphia Video Festival will take place June 6-7 at the Bristol Riverside Theatre.
Beginning at 8pm on Friday, June 6th, will be the screening of the action/adventure short, “Abracadabra.” “Abracadabra” follows an unsuccessful street magician who happens upon an ancient book that boasts the road to becoming a Great Magician in ten steps. Each step requires a progressively darker deed until the magician finds himself in a situation beyond his control.
Following “Abracadabra” will be Leisuresuit Media’s feature length comedy, “Ultrachrist!”. What would Jesus do if he returned to Earth and discovered that he could no longer relate to modern youth? In “Ultrachrist!”, he dons Spandex and becomes a sin-fighting urban super hero. Confronting inner and outer demons, he must battle both Satan and a disapproving Father, as madcap hijinks ensue.
