Ah yes, grasshopper. “Kung Fu” series creator Ed Spielman finally gave in and cashed the paycheck for rights to the cult TV hit and sold them to Warner Bros based Legendary Pictures. Legendary also optioned a script written by Spielman and Howard Friedlander who was a writer for the original series. No word yet on who will play Caine or if Bruce Lee’s estate will cause a stir because the series was stolen from him many years ago.
