By Film Threat Staff | November 18, 2000

Whether you think of Homer Simpson a voice of enlightened reason or just a cartoon guy with a paunch is entirely up to you, but now there is no denying that the Simpson clan, Homer included, just got a little bit smarter.

Playmates Toys will debut the Homer Simpson doll from their new Intelli-Tronic series this December, and the figure responds to tasks from DOT-PAL enabled websites via a USB connection to your computer. Homer and crew also talk when moved around in several Interactive Environments, which will include the power plant, the Kwik-E-Mart, and Spingfield Elementary.
You have to wait a month to get your hands on these intelligent, yellow playthings, but Playmates Toys has all of the details on their [ official website. ]
