HIP-HOP FEATURE SCREENS WITH SHORTS

By Film Threat Staff | August 9, 2004

The Hermosa Shorts Film Festival has given a special exemption to the electronic music and DJ documentary “Put the Needle on the Record”. The film is the only feature to screen as part of the three day long short subject film festival. “I had mentioned the film to the directors of the festival and they immediately wanted to try to make it a part of their program”, said Joni Day one of the film’s producers. “They made it happen and we are thrilled to have our Southern California premiere with this festival.”

The Hermosa Shorts Film Festival takes place from August 20-22, 2004 in Hermosa Beach, California. It features some of the top short subjects from local and global filmmakers. The festival also offers workshops on subjects such as casting, budgeting and writing.
