GEORGE ROMERO STALKS THE WEB

By Stephanie Donnelly | September 5, 2000

A trek to the official site of horror legend George A. Romero is as dark and creepy as his most famous film, “Night of the Living Dead”. Glaring eyes leer from the blackness and basically dare you to follow, while screams can be heard bellowing from the computer screen. Yours just might join them…the sound is still turned down on my computer.
Once inside, you’ll find updates and news from the man himself, as well as a chat area for the die-hard “living dead” and the curious nightwalker alike. The brave can look at photos of George in action (though he’s not scary, and is a bit huggable looking) and there’s even a store with swag made especially for Romero fans. One highlight: George’s book, “The Death of Death,” which can be purchased one online (Adobe) chapter at a time. Bring your flashlight and creep over to [ Romero Headquarters. ]
