FROM FILM THREAT TO FILM HUG

By Mark Bell | April 1, 2010

Folks kept asking how things would be different with Film Threat, and my answer is that “Threat” is so… mean. Why not be more positive? Why not show the love? And so from now on out, Film Threat is Film Hug.

What does Film Hug mean? Film Hug means that we’re no longer going to focus on the dark and gritty of indie cinema. Nay, my friends (my cuddly, let’s share a bathtub friends), now is about the positive films. The “My Little Pony” franchise, as seen through a lens coated with sugar and candy sprinkles. Let’s embrace film anew, with smiles and giggles!

Film Hug… you look like you could use one…

In case it got by you, and we doubt it did, this was an April Fool’s Day joke. Film Hug? Really? I’d have gone with Film Colonoscopy before THAT…
