FLIXER FEST FINDS WINNERS

By Film Threat Staff | December 17, 2000

Chapman University film student Mark Doti is a very happy young filmmaker. After ten shorts made the final cut in the FLiXER “George Huang Project” (basically a film fest), online viewers got to log on and vote. It was a very close race, but Doti’s short piece “Big Day…Big Time” was declared the champ, and Doti received $2,500 as his reward.
FLiXER also selected their own winner, and Caleb Dewart’s unique short “Date” got him a production and development deal with FLiXER for his next film venture. Though voting for the films of “The George Huang Project” closed on [ November 29th ] , the shorts are still available for your viewing pleasure at [ the FLiXER site. ]
