Laurence Fishburne and A-Mark Entertainment have acquired the film rights to Paulo Coelho’s best-selling novel “The Alchemist” from previous rights-holders Warner Bros.
“The Alchemist” seems to be one of those projects that everyone talks about making but no one actually does (hence WB holding the rights for so long), so we’ll see if Fishburne can follow through…
