DEEP ELLUM FEST NEARS

The Deep Ellum Film Festival is a true celebration of the indie spirit, and they’ll commence their yearly slate of “film, music and noise” in Dallas on [ November 14th ] before wrapping things up on [ November 19th, 2000 ] . The Fest promotes an artsy/laid-back atmosphere with screenings and events where you can watch the best and most innovative cinema in the world in revitalized juke joints, art deco theaters and on the rooftops of clubs in a drive-in theatre atmosphere.
Festival highlights include the [ November 14th ] screening of “Hallelujah the Hills,” the award-winning 1963 cult film which is co-presented by the Sundance Channel, and the [ November 15th ] opening night party to honor Deep Ellum’s feature guest, photographer/artist Peter Beard.
