CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN BUSH

By Dean Edward | June 24, 2004

A serious examination of the political turmoil that is tearing the very fabric of our existence, a deeply felt diatribe…nah, just f*****g with you. This is a very silly short with a kung fu expert wearing a George Dubbya mask trying to feel up a pretty young thing at a local bar, only to be rebuffed by two foxy female avengers. Clocking in at just under six minutes, “Bush” is a fingernail paring of a tale, worth a look for a chuckle or two after a long night of drinking but nothing to seek out. Writer/Director/Actor Velazquez shows some competency with camera angles. Now he just needs to train that camera on something more worthwhile.
