As the gossip detritus from Cannes settles into the pages of the tabloids, word has it the Weinstein Co. are looking to do a remake of the Kurosawa classic “Seven Samurai.” According to actor Donnie Yen, Harvey Weinstein approached him regarding several projects the company has coming up including a remake of a Kurosawa film, but he didn’t say which one.
